Heather Nolan lives in the Butchers Hill neighborhood of Baltimore with husband, Tom, and three children, Aoife (10), Seamus (8) and Fionnuala (5). Her core values include service to others, compassion and family. These values have been cultivated and strengthened throughout her life, having been born in Lima, Peru, growing up in Miami, Florida with a strong family support system and studying Human Development, with a focus on policy, advocacy and community change, at Boston College. Since moving to Baltimore from Chicago in 2009, she has worked at Baltimore City Public Schools developing and implementing policies and initiatives to improve student learning and outcomes for our students. Raising their children in the catholic faith and social justice teachings is an incredible gift and opportunity and this year she has been fortunate enough to become more involved with PREP and the great work of St. Ignatius, reaffirming her commitment as a parishioner since 2015.
