As a Jesuit parish, we believe we are called to explore, discover, respect, protect, and enhance whatever is humane and graced in every person, and in every culture.
St. Ignatius Catholic Community is guided by the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola, aims to nurture lay leadership and personal faith, and participate in the apostolic work of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits).
We encourage community members to reflect on their experiences and to discern Godās will in their lives. One of our goals is to nurture lay leadership as well as each personās faith, a āfaith that does justice,ā through solidarity with the poor and dedication to Catholic social teaching.
We believe that cooperating with each other and sharing Godās generosity and compassion is a privilege of being human and that what we owe to God, to creation, to one another: gratitude, humility, reverence, and service.
We are delighted if our vision as a Catholic community inspires you to join us and walk with us. You are choosing to move from being an always-welcome visitor to becoming an active member who welcomes others.
As an active member, you promise to support St. Ignatius with your weekly presence at Mass, a weekly financial commitment, and a willingness to serve, accompany, and advocate for the poor or those who are pushed to the margins in our society. Again, welcome!
