Meet Johno
John (Johno) brings many gifts to us at St. Ignatius. He spent 35 years in a pastoral role (5 years as Associate Pastor with the original Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Los Angeles, and 30 years as Senior/Founding Pastor with the Vineyard Community Church of Central Maryland). Additionally, he has been the Pastoral Coordinator and Church Planting Director for the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. and for Ukraine. His decade long work in Ukraine led him into working with the International Justice Mission (IJM) and the State of Maryland in the passing of Anti Human Trafficking legislation and becoming a founding member of the Maryland State Anti-Trafficking Task Force.
Johno served as Client Media Presentation Director for one of the largest advertising agencies in the world (Chiat/Day Inc. – Los Angeles) following his work as Technical Director for a PBS television station (KSPS) in the Northwest.
He graduated from the University of Maryland, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in Media Communication.
He and his lovely wife, Kevin, have 7 grown children and 8 grandchildren and reside in the Hamilton region of Baltimore. They have traveled extensively across the globe, but are particularly Francophiles having been to France many times throughout the years.
