Liturgy
The celebration of the Mass is the core of Catholic worship. At St. Ignatius there are several weekend liturgies. Contact us to make arrangements if you need to receive low-gluten hosts.
NB: On September 2, 2012, the 9:00 Family Mass was merged with the 10:30 Choir Mass.
Weekend Masses
On Saturday the Mass of the Day is at 12:10 PM in the Chapel.
4:30 PM Saturday Vigil Mass in the Chapel. Organist.
8:00 AM Sunday Mass in the Chapel. No musical accompaniment.
9:30 AM Radio Mass, broadcast live over WBAL 1090 AM. Thirty minute airtime. Organist and cantor. Since October 14, 2012, the 9:30 Mass has been celebrated upstairs in the Church rather than in the Chapel.
10:30 AM Family Choir Mass in the Church. Classically trained quartet, organist and cantor. On special occasions accompanied by strings and other instrumentalists. Separate Liturgy of the Word for the children.
6:00 PM Evening Mass in the Chapel. Organist and cantor.
Weekday Masses
On Monday through Friday, Masses are celebrated in the Chapel at 7:25 AM and 12:10 PM.
Holy Days of Obligation
On Holy Days of Obligation, Masses are generally in the Chapel at 7:25 AM, 12:10 PM and 5:30 PM, with a Vigil Mass the evening before at 5:30. This schedule varies when a weekend is involved.
